An old and wonderful House
These are some pictures of a house that came into our family in the 70's and was transformed into a bed and breakfast. The history of the house I couldn't find much of but a man moved to where the house is now located in Michigan in 1843 and built the house for his family. When my family got the house, it was pretty warn down but when it got restored a bit it became the bed and breakfast. There are about ten bedrooms total and two floors. In the 90's a tornado came and tore a tree out of the ground and it crashed into one of the walls. The wall now is plywood and has a poor display to the public who drive by.
The house is not lived in and has been used for storage about twenty years ago. There was a rumor that one of my great aunts had committed suicide in one of the upstairs bedrooms and my other aunt had seen her ghost in the house but I could find no proof. Enjoy some of these pictures that I took the other day.

A Walk through History's Streets
Just a Opera House prop in a museum but fell in love instantly!
This was a cool street that was reconstructed to reseumed the late 1800's in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
These beautiful necklaces were not really for sale to my disappointment
Shoes for display

A Final Summer of Shadows
Yesterday was my first day of Summer after exams and now I am officially a senior! I have a lot of plans and want to start posting photos soon. I want to start selling items for my grandparents on eBay to earn money and hopefully that goes well. My song choice for the day is Secret Passions by Imperia, it makes me think of Alice in Wonderland at the beginning and I love the lyrics. I know this isn't much of a goth inspiring post but I am gearing up for some cool stuff to show soon!

Poetry Share
This is a piece of my poetry that I wrote a few days ago and wanted to share. Tell me what you guys think:
Dreams of Myself
Dreams of Myself
A perfect Duet
A mysterious Masquerade
The Dance of pure Magic
Imagination around every corner
The world in my hands
Such sights to reveal
If only life was longer
Can you feel the history?
Whispers through a graveyard
Traveling like fog accompanied by a crow
A gothic paradise inside my mind
"Normal" tears at my clothes
I do not run, let it come
I will stand here waiting,
My passions too great to lose
My beliefs too broad to break
Watch as the crow soars
And the stars guide the night
A masked stranger, his smile compelling
I believe in that something dark and strange

Why i am Goth Part 1
Goth to me is beautiful. The style is historic and elegant. The women are stunning with hair colour and tattoos. The men carry a sophistication and mystery that most girls love since the beginning. The most is something different and magical that i could easily fall asleep to.

Welcome
This is a brand new blog obviously, so tell me what you think and what you would like to see.
About Myself:
I am seventeen years old and love Nightwish, Xandria, Birthday Massacre, Tarja for music and Labyrinth, Imaginaerum, Anything Tim Burton for films. I am a writer and hope to publish a book soon after I graduate. Whoever knows about Jillian Venters (aka "Lady of the Manners") on Goth Charm School, I follow her example of being polite and such.
